Rock Xtreme

Yea that's right that's the cheesy new name of the kick butt race team coming to a church near you. Austin, Brandon and myself have set a goal for ourselves to buy dual sports in the spring. We all want motorcycles due to the high gas prices and incredible fun that were going to have. Last night we had some time trial races to get a feel for a bike before we buy one. We definitely made some progress whipping through trails in the woods. Here are some pics of Vallejo doing work on me.

Foosball Champion!!!

Border Wars...

So this weekend will be my first big tournament in foosball. It is called border wars and it's a pretty big deal. I will keep everybody updated on games and such here.... I will try and have some video of matches and such. I am pretty pumped cause I ended up getting paired up with one of the best guys in Iowa. We will see what happens.

Foosball..

So as most of you know I have a new obsession with foosball. It's kinda funny how it has all worked out because I was unusually obsessed with the game when I was a young kid as well. I used to sit in my basement practicing foosball by myself not knowing there is actually professional foosball. I play every thursday night in tournaments with some pretty good players as well as good friends. I also practice with a few pros and semi pros on Sunday nights. They are getting ready for a big tournament where you bring 8 players from each region. I actually have a chance to be one of those 8. I have only been playing competitively for about 7 months and I'm doing pretty well. I think its my obsessive attitude towards everything I do, a great man once told me "if your not first your last" and I took it to heart. For those of you who don't understand how foosball can be professional or you've never seen a professional foosball game here is a link of the top 2 players in the world playing eachother.

Volleyball

So the season has come to an end and its tournament time. Yes we have
the worst record in the league, but there is something different
tonight. I feel some sense of an invisible hope. I will let you all
know how we do. Pray Gor us as we take the battlefield. Also pray that
we figure out some kind of fundamental in this game.

So the team made some changes. Baby blue girl shorts and white tube
socks= another win!

Volleyball Update.

So last night the team decided to try something different. After
losing consistently week after week we needed a moral booster. The
team decided that mandatory shirt shorts and tube socks was the
answer. And if was! We won our 5th game of the season against the 2nd
rank team, and we owe it all to the shorts and tube socks.

Foosball

Tonight is the night. Foosball night. I truly enjoy this night a
lot. I love it because I get to hang In an environent that is
completley different then what I'm used to. It gives me a chance to
get around raw unbelievers and see just how much people actually need
Jesus. Don't worry I'm not alone down there, I definitely go with two
or three of my buddies as well as my dad "the pastor". Yes its true
the pastor of rock church hangs out in a bar on Thursday nights. This
is our mission field.
